As we spend this time without our dance classes, many of you may choose to learn dances on your own at home, or practice dances you learned before this hiatus. If you have gone to the Copperknob web site in the last few days, you will have seen that it looks very different. Although the look and format is different, it appears that all the information we are used to is still there. To find the videos, you need to scroll down to the bottom of the step sheets, rather than seeing them along the side. Just FYI

It's hard to believe that it's already time to start (just start) thinking about the Vegas event next year. The registration has just opened, and even though we have plenty of time to sign up, you may want to take a look at the flyer and check out the great list of instructors Doug & Jackie have lined up already. The event will be back in November again, like it used to be, for 2020. Six days and nights of the best line dancing you can find anywhere, November 17 to 22, 2020. Click here to see the Flyer and Registration form.

My most recent information on classes being affected by

the COVID-19 Virus situation.

As of today, March 13, ALL OF OUR CLASSES ARE CANCELLED!!!!

All of the city facilities where we teach are closing and canceling activities, including Redwood City, San Carlos, and San Mateo. They have each given a different ending date for the closures, but have all also said the dates are tentative and subject to change.  We will continue to put our latest information here as it comes in to us. We realize this is very disruptive for all  of us, but the cities feel it is necessary, and we tend to agree that it is the best thing to do at this time. Check back here from time to time for updated info. When the time comes (before too too long we hope) that we are able to resume classes, that info will be posted here. In the meantime, be careful, be safe and we will hope to see all of you before too long.

"JUMP JUMP", the fabulous dance choreographed by Doug & Jackie Miranda and our own Anni Wunderlich is now published on Copperknob!!!!!! Click here to access the step sheet and the video.

Doug &Jackie Miranda's  "SMOKEY MOUNTAIN SHINDIG" May 15-17, 2020

Doug & Jackie are the organizers of the Vegas Dance Explosion, one of the lagest line dance events in the USA. Visit them in their home town of Pigeon Forge Tennessee for this small, fun event. It's held in eastern Tennesse minutes from the entrance to the Smokey Mountain National Park and lots of other scenic and fun attractions. With 2 rooms and only about 100 to 150 dancers, you will get a chance to really get to know the fabulous instructors in a relaxed atmosphere. Stay a few extra days and enjoy the many local attractions.Click herefor registration or more information.
